Dickies Medical Uniforms

dev.dickiesmedical.com — Web Designer and Developer.

As an exclusive licensee to Williamson-Dickie company, Selecta Corp. (Dickies Medical Uniforms) provides nurses and healthcare professionals with fashionable alternatives to the basic scrubs. I managed the most detailed product catalog web site in the medical uniforms industry. The content/images and product data sheets were made available to assist partners' online retail operations. I also oversaw the brand image across multiple outlets in the online marketplace. HTML/CSS/VBSCRIPT.

Nha Khanh

www.nhakhanh.com — Web Designer and Developer.

Born into an artistic family, Khanh grew up surrounded by art and fashion at a very young age. Having a father as a talented artist and a mother with twenty years of bridal design, creativity was fused within her before she could even walk or talk.

Khanh's energy and talent inspired the web site. Her work speaks for itself, and I wanted to design the pages so that the work could be ‘up front and center,’ as demonstrated when you click on an image to zoom in. HTML/CSS/Javascript.

National Geographic

www.nationalgeographic.com — Jr. Web Designer. I bought a one-way ticket to D.C. to see if I could find a job and got super lucky to work at the NG Headquarters as part of the Digital Media group. As part of a team of 5 other extremely talented designers, I got to learn the ropes for design production processes in a media-publications environment, design team structure, image color-correction, and the importance usability testing. As one of the jobs that came early in my career, I will always look back with an appreciation as I continue use a lot of what I learned in my everyday work.

National Geographic Photo of the Day

www.nationalgeographic.com/pod — Jr. Web Designer. I was able to introduce an automated system to add watermarks and photographer credits within Photoshop.

Enterprise Counsel Group

www.enterprisecounsel.com — Web Designer and Co-Developer. The Enterprise Counsel Group, A Law Corporation, originally contracted a re-design of their Web site in 2003.

The site was the first foray into table-less design and PHP scripting. The result was a "light-weight" and easy-to-manage solution.
